Colt State Park
Bristol, Rhode Island

The route below is three miles. Much of it is on paved sidewalks, and there are no hills. There are good views of the water. The old stone walls will remind you that this area was farmed in colonial times, perhaps as early as the 1600s. As with Mt. Hope Farm in Bristol, there are hints of GildedAge affluence (such as the fancy stone dairy barn). Colt State Park is just west of the East Bay Bikepath, so you could combine both places in one visit.
